Red Sun Group makes a point of environment protection while developing. Proverbially, the waste water of pesticide has a complex share and is hard to be treated. In order to achieve the waste water let standard, the group invested 52.86 million yuan to build a waste water treatment establishment which inhabits 30 unit of area and pretreat the waste water contained cyanogens and phosphor, and then treated in the biochemistry treat system on the principle of separating the waste and clean water, treating each kind of waste water differently. In 1995, the group invested 12 million to build an integration waste water treatment system which can treat 1500 tons of waste water daily. The new system was check and accepted by Nanjing Environment Protection Bureau in 1997 and passed through the Taihu Valley Standard.

In order to fit for the rapidly development and persisted growth of production scale and output, the group invested 37 million Yuan to introduce the advanced biochemistry treatment technics from Tongji University and expanded “Green Life Project”. This project can treat 10000 tons daily and cost 30000 yuan daily. Averagely, every tons of waste water cost 29.2 yuan. The system was check and accepted by Gaochun Environment Protection Bureau in May, 2005.

In 2001, according to the request of Nanjing Environment Protection Bureau, the group invested 0.2 million yuan to install a waste source auto-surveillance system and was checked and accepted by Nanjing Environment Protection Bureau in 2004. In 2005, the group went on invest 0.2 million to autocontrol the key point of waste water treatment project to improve the level of management of the project.

On the one hand, Red Sun Group actively pushes clean production; in 2004 the group developed clean production auditing and invested 6.7 million yuan, and obtained 10 million yuan return. In 2005, the clean production auditing is successfully inspected and formed a clean production leading and actualizing working group, and founded a series of continuous clean product management system. In April 2007, the group passed through the ISO14000 Environment and Quality System Authentication, and formed a series of environment management system which contains bright Red Sun management mode. On the other hand, Red Sun Group strengthens the treatment work of waste water, waste gas, and waste residue, and perfects existing environment establishment. Through carrying out strict and scientific management system, the group makes sure that environment protection establishment running regularly and efficiently, and the output of waste water treat system can achieve the government let standard.
